For Kew members, your membership with the Boroondara Leisure and Aquatic Facilities gives you access to all four recreation centres in Boroondara. The three other facilities you have access to as part of your membership are Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure CentreBoroondara Sports Complex and Ashburton Pool & Recreation Centre.

    What will happen to my membership now Kew Recreation Centre is closed?

    Your membership with Boroondara Leisure and Aquatic Facilities will remain on free suspension, unless you tell us otherwise. As a member of the Kew Recreation Centre you have and will continue to have, reciprocal access to the other three Boroondara Leisure and Aquatic Facilities.

    Can I change my mind and come off free suspension at a later date?

    Yes you can. We are allowing you flexibility of when you re-activate your Boroondara Leisure and Aquatic Facilities membership. There will be no additional re-start charges associated with the re-activation of your membership. 

    What if I do not want to use the other Boroondara Leisure & Aquatic Facilities when Kew Recreation Centre closes?

    We will continue to offer free suspension for the expected two year closure period. All memberships will automatically be placed on free suspension, you don’t have to do anything.
